Follow the Spirit🌊

Hello everybody, another week down and loving the mission life. A good hard-working week and gave the Lord all we could. My comp was out sick for a bit but we kept going and doing what we could. Bonfire:🪵🔥 This friday the branch I'm serving in had a lil bonfire night, where they shared messages and played a couple games. A solid turnout, and we had some recent converts that came and enjoyed the night. Cintia's baptism: This Sunday our good friend Cintia was able to be baptized. She truly is an elect daughter of God. The spirit guided us to her, and ever since that day, she has read the Book of Mormon everyday and we have seen a big change in her. So cool to be an instrument of the Lord and help people draw the power of the Atonement in their own lives, and to be able to see how the gospel really can change lives! Spiritual thought: D&C 31 11 Go your way whithersoever I will, and it shall be given you by the Comforter what you shall do and whither you shall go. Great scrip...

Consecration

Hello everybody, another fast week with some successes and challenges. Multi zone: This week we had a multi-zone and learned a lot about bring consecrated as missionaries and what we can leave behind to be more focused. President also talked a lot about diligence, doing all the things every. single. day, even if we're tired or discouraged. Also got to see a bunch of my boys that came with me! Elder Peterson- MTC Companion Elder Morton Same generation We have a couple friends that have been progressing well towards baptism but out of nowhere have felt that they "don't feel ready" or "I'm not prepared" and that's been frustrating. But we persevere, keep working and we have faith that 2 of our friends will be baptized this week, Jordan y Cintia, pray for them! The District (with Pres. y Sister Donaldson) Spiritual thought: 2 Nephi 31 17 ...For the gate by which ye should enter is repentance and baptism by water; and then cometh a remission of your sins ...

Jordan’s Baptism

Hello friends and family, how you guys doing? Hope all is well, but I also hope some things are hard so that you can be humble and put your trust in God.👍🏻 Exchanges: This Wednesday I was able to go on an exchange with Elder Mosquera, from Ecuador 🇪🇨, and it was a great day. We really focused on contacting everyone we could, really trying to find the elect. It was a fun day! Jordan's baptism: This Sunday we were able to help Jordan be baptized, truly a miracle. He's been going to church for about 3 months but his parents never gave him permission to baptized. But out of nowhere we just got to know the mom and she gave him permission. Our prayers and fasts were answered!🌊 Spiritual thought: Ether 12 27 And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak thin...

Juticalpa☀️🌧

Hola! I hope you guys are doing great! Got transferred on Tuesday over to a knew area called Juticalpa. It's the hottest zone in my mission and the sun sure has been strong, but there's been a couple rain storms which has helped a lot. the new district There were a few more goodbyes in La Villa before heading out to my new area.   Te extraño bro (I miss you bro) Familia Amaya Peace out to La Villa Juticalpa: Got moved over to Juticalpa, it's pretty far away from the city, but a great area. I've been called to be a zone leader in this area. The people here are so much nicer and more receptive than in my old area, it's ridiculous. So it's been nice to be able to talk to more people. Also got paired up with Elder Catu, an elder I've known since the beginning of my mission and we were already in the same district for 2 transfers.  He's a fun guy.   Had a great week talking to everybody we could, invited a lot of people to be baptized and the people here jus...

Hello friends and family, welcome to another email. Last week of the transfer and my time in La Villa has come to an end! An amazing 4 and a half months of seeing miracles and lots of personal growth! La Villa De San Antonio: Well, I'm getting transferred tomorrow and will be heading to another area. Here in La Villa I really have seen the hand of the Lord more than any other time in my life, He has truly blessed us in His perfect time and my testimony has been strengthened a lot. So grateful for this dedicated time to be a missionary and to strengthen my testimony in my Savior Jesus Christ! Marlon y Joseth Fam Torres He always says to me, " "Whats the matta with u, u tryna fight"- that's all the English he knows. Fausto y Romelia Intercambio: This Friday I hit up and intercambio with the legend himself Elder Kitchen right before he goes home tomorrow.
