Bye Bye Talanga 👋

Image
Well well well... My time in Talanga has officially come to an end- your boy is getting transferred out tomorrow, a bittersweet moment one could say. This last week was a great last week, so lets hit some highlights! Britany's Baptism: Basically when I first got out here there was this girl who was already on date for baptism, but she never could get permission from her dad to be baptized, so we had to stop visiting her. But randomly last week she sent us a text saying she had super good news for us and that we should come as soon as possible, and she told us that her dad gave her permission to be baptized!! We visited her multiple times this week and reviewed all the things and was baptized this Sunday!! I know that God blessed us with a miracle and I'm very grateful to be a part of this important step in Britany's life to follow Jesus Christ! Other fun things from the week: - Basically there is this restaurant really close to our house that we go to like 3 times a week....

Hello everybody welcome back to another email. Just wanted to thank you all for sending me some birthday wishes this week! It was an awesome to have my birthday as a missionary, sad to only have 1 more. Let's get into it! Intercambios: On Tuesday I had an intercambio with my Zone Leader, Elder Perry, who is my brother here out in the mission. Also went out with Elder Morton 2 times this week because my comp and his comp were out sick for 2 days, so we went out together and worked in both areas, it was a good time. a young man from the ward My birthday: Turns out here in Honduras the tradition for birthdays is to crack eggs on the persons head and dump flour all over you. I not only had it happen once, but twice. It was a fun experience and living up the culture down here. But it was a great day fille...

Hello everybody, another week down. I guess I already hit 5 months as a missionary as of yesterday so thats pretty crazy! Nothing very specific happened this week so I'll just put some bullet points from the week! Events this week: - intercambios with Elder Morton again.  We were running it up in Jordan and it was fun to work with him again. We got some crepes to top off the day👍 - On Wednesday the whole house (minus Elder Morton) woke up with some stomach problems, so that whole day we were kinda just at home taking turns in the bathroom🚽💩. On the upside, we got all dressed up in suits and we read "The Ricciardi Letter" which got me hype to do missionary work! If you don't know what that is. it's basically just this crazy good Elder who served in England forever ago, just his love for the work and his dedication. Been turning up my game and trying to lock in even more, to give The Lord my all! Anyway that was kind of it, just a normal hard-working week. The ...
