Injured Buttock, pt. 2

Image
What is up everybody- welcome back to another week. As we can tell from the title, I have once again injured my buttock, and this time it's much more painful!😀 (The first time was when a motorcycle was flying by too close and clipped me with his handlebar.) Anyway, let's get into the week. Intercambio: This week I got to go out with an Elder named Elder Lund.  He's got just a little bit more time in the mission than me and he's a great elder.  We had a whole lot of food given to us and a great day together. We met some family at the end of the day and they were really funny. Some chick said if I was older than 25 she'd marry me.🥱 Thursday: Had a great interview with my Mission President Thursday morning, then a wonderful conversation with Hermana Donaldson about this fat bump I got in between the top of my butt cheeks.  It was quite the lovely conversation! Anyway, ended up going to the hospital all day to get this FAT cyst popped. Laying on that hospital bed and ...

"where are you gays"

Hello everybody it's me again, Elder Bingham, writing another weekly email. Pretty great week cannot lie, found some elect and just been working like some dawgs. And as for the title goes for this email it's because my comp is trying to learn English, but bro said gays instead of guys, good times. Intercambios: This Thursday I was able to go out and work with Elder Barrera, some dope Elder from Mexico.  He's a great elder and fun to be around and watch his style of work.  It's crazy because when I came into the mission he picked me up at the airport and he had like 8-9 months in his mission, and now he has 18, so that really hit me of just how fast the mission is going right now! The work: The work is going pretty good right now finally starting to get some things going for us and seeing miracles. This week we had the opportunity to find Nohemy and Isis, a mom and daughter that haven't been baptized. We had like 7 members with us pull up to the house with them and...

9 months🫢🙀

Hello everybody, how is everyone doing? Well today I have officially hit 9 months in the mission which is pretty crazy, time be starting to pick up fast! Multi Zona: This past week we had the opportunity to have a member of the 70, Elder Guiffra, and his wife come to our mission! It was awesome, super cool to hear from a special witness of Christ and his powerful testimony of Him and this work!  The work: This week was a pretty solid week of work, working hard everyday and seeing miracles along the way. 🙏 We have about 3 people that want to be baptized but first have to get married in order to do so. I never would've thought in my mission I would be worrying so much about getting people married, I'm just a 19 year old kid😭😢. Thought I would be putting baptismal dates, but right now it's pure wedding dates! Spiritual thought: Moroni 7 46 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, if ye have not charity, ye are nothing, for charity never faileth. Wherefore, cleave unto charity, whi...

May the 4th be with you🙏

Hello friends and family- welcome to another email.  Things are going good out here in Honduras, just living the missionary life. The temple: This past week I was able to go to the temple with our recent convert Jesua. It's super fun to be able to go to the temple with him and watch him progress in the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I love the temple! The work: Well the work out here in my area is pretty tough, I'm not going to lie.  People are pretty hard hearted and aren't really open to anything, but nonetheless, we persevere with faith and keep working. view of the temple We've got a couple people with a baptismal date, but they either aren't married or they think they need to go to church a million times before they can really be baptized, so just working with them to progress and be baptized in the true and restored church! Spiritual thought: "Satan knows us by name but calls us by our sins, and God knows us for our sins but calls us by name" This ...
