Injured Buttock, pt. 2
What is up everybody- welcome back to another week. As we can tell from the title, I have once again injured my buttock, and this time it's much more painful!😀 (The first time was when a motorcycle was flying by too close and clipped me with his handlebar.) Anyway, let's get into the week.
Intercambio:
This week I got to go out with an Elder named Elder Lund. He's got just a little bit more time in the mission than me and he's a great elder. We had a whole lot of food given to us and a great day together. We met some family at the end of the day and they were really funny. Some chick said if I was older than 25 she'd marry me.🥱
Thursday:
Had a great interview with my Mission President Thursday morning, then a wonderful conversation with Hermana Donaldson about this fat bump I got in between the top of my butt cheeks. It was quite the lovely conversation! Anyway, ended up going to the hospital all day to get this FAT cyst popped. Laying on that hospital bed and waiting for hours brought me back to the end of 5th grade when I was in the hospital for appendicitis, except this time I was without my parents and everything was in Spanish. 😢 Fortunately, my Spanish is good enough now that I could understand most of what they said and could communicate with the doctors.

Finished the night with President picking us up to take us home and some 11:30pm Wendy's, super rico.
Besides that though this upcoming Sunday we're looking great for 4 baptisms, so please pray for Nohemy, Isis, Luis, and Jose!
For pday last week, President and Sister Donaldson took our zone to this national park, Cerro Juana Lainez, with beautiful views of Tegucigalpa and this giant national flag. Known as "The Peace Monument", it was built in honor of the victory of the Allied Nations in World War II. We ate pizza and hung out, it was a nice, chill activity.
Spiritual thought:
John 10
16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
3 Nephi 15
21 And verily I say unto you, that ye are they of whom I said: Other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
I know that the people of the ancient Americas ARE the other sheep that Jesus Christ testified of, and I know that through the Book of Mormon. I'm extremely grateful for the Book of Mormon. I know that it is another testament of Jesus Christ and brings us the fulness of His gospel. I testify that it is true and has the power to change your life, because it sure changed mine.
Read the Book of Mormon more this week and your week will be better!👍
Love you all,
Elder Bingham
