Make America Great Again

Hola hola everybody, what is up!? Another week in the books, it went fast and we were working really hard this week! This email will be short and sweet because nothing too crazy has really happened, just straight workin!!

Leading:
This transfer I get to "lead" the area. My companion still carries me most the time, but I get to start conversations with people and start most lessons. I feel like my Spanish is pretty solid for 1 transfer in the field, but it seems every time I have to start a conversation or lesson, all my Spanish just disappears. I usually can get through it but definitely can improve! This week was a tough week, and it definitely pushed me to be a better missionary. A great week of growth as I've started to build up a little bit more confidence and knowledge of how to teach.

Other stuff that happened this week:
- I had an intercambio, which is just when you switch companions for a day, I was with Elder Jiminez and it was chill vibes, always good to learn different ways of teaching
- I saw a Donald Trump face mask thing at some parade and it was dope, God bless the USA
- Elder Morton and I's comps let us go get Baleadas together and it was fire. 🔥 (Baleadas are a popular street food made with a thick flour tortilla that is folded in half and filled with refried beans, cheese, and crema (a thick, buttery cream), and you can add other toppings like eggs, chicken, avacado, etc.  Back home, I probably wouldn't have liked them that much, but here in Honduras... they are so good!)
- I eat a lot of mini bananas, they're fun 🍌

Yeah that's really it, loving the mish👍

Spiritual thought:
"The Apostle Paul taught that the Lord’s teachings and commandments were given that we may all attain “the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.” That process requires far more than acquiring knowledge. It is not even enough to be convinced of the gospel; we must act so that we are converted by it. In contrast to other preaching, which teaches us to know something, the gospel of Jesus Christ challenges us to become something"

That's one of my favorite quotes from President Oaks, enjoy🤙

Until next time,
Elder Bingham
