Thanksgiving/Election
Hola everybody welcome back again, it's that time of the week!
Intercambios:
This week once again I did a couple of Intercambios, a couple with Elder Jimenez and then one with Elder Troulzen, my zone leader. Being with Elder Troulzen was super fun because he is another white guy, so I was able to learn a lot and actually speak and ask questions and then be able to understand the response!
Thanksgiving:
Thanksgiving was actually an awesome day out here! Honduras doesn't celebrate it, but our pensionista cooked us some really good food that day, then that night some rich family who we have never met before invited us over to have a Thanksgiving dinner. (They lived in America for a while and are in the ward of some other missionaries.)

They were playing some fun music and everyone was dancing, the food was good, and I had like a 30 minute conversation with some dude all in Spanish! Obviously, I didn't understand every little thing, but enough to keep a conversation going. It's always cool to see progress!
Election:
This weekend was election weekend for Honduras, and because it's really dangerous we have to stay low for a couple days. But as a new missionary whose opinion doesn't really matter and can't speak the language, my comp and the other Latino in my house decided we should come to the city during the election to hang out with the other elders, and nothing I could really do about it! But we made it here safe and will stay low over here!
Spiritual thought:
Moroni 7
19 Wherefore, I beseech of you, brethren, that ye should search diligently in the light of Christ that ye may know good from evil; and if ye will lay hold upon every good thing, and condemn it not, ye certainly will be a child of Christ.

Peace out,
