An Instrument in the Lords Hands🌊🇭🇳

 Hello everybody, another quick but great week here in Honduras. Let's get into it!


Multizona:
We had a wonderful multi zone conference this past Tuesday where we talked about doing the spiritual work beforehand in order to have success in the moment.  It basically goes with literally everything in life. Put in the work beforehand, and you will be blessed in the moment you need it. Also got to see all my boys from my MTC district so that was hype.



Jesua and Carlos:
This past Sunday we were able to be a part of the baptisms of our friends Jesua and Carlos! Super cool to see our two friends make this big step of faith, to be baptized and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost!

After Carlos was baptized, he got up in front of everyone and he started getting really emotional and thanking Elder Whetton and I for how grateful he was for us, and for helping him get to this day of his baptism. Reminded me of how important being a missionary really is and the blessings I can help people receive!



Also special shoutout to my boy Kade Bench on getting his mission call!! Rome Italy better watch out👀🇮🇹

Spiritual thought:
Alma 48
8 Yea, he had been strengthening the armies of the Nephites, and erecting small forts, or places of resort; throwing up banks of earth round about to enclose his armies and also building walls of stone to encircle them about, round about their cities and the borders of their lands; yea, all round about the land.

This verse is talking about Captain Moroni preparing his people to be ready for battle. I love this because it goes well with the theme of my multi-zone conference, to be prepared!! Don't wait till tomorrow, start preparing now!!

  Hola everybody- another week has passed by already. I guess I get to write another email, but wow the week flew by!  First Christmas away from home but it was a good time. Let's get into the week.  Multi Zone Conference: Monday and Tuesday we had a conference with like 4 other zones and it was super fun, got to see some friends that I had been with in the CCM and got to catch up with them! Had some Little Ceasars pizza and a talent show it was cool. Next day we had the spiritual part and it was super good, learned a little bit about Angels and we talked about the brother of Jared, giving the stones to the Lord to make light out of them, and how we can give the Lord our stones, and let him light them for us!   What is up everybody, hope you guys are all doing well. It was a good week of work and also some fun times as well. Definitely some things from my mission that I'll remember the rest of my life!  Happy bday Elder Garcia Also my mission is deleting messenger, so if you ever want to write to me or something like that, check out the email at the bottom of the email🫶 Copa Misional: Because the World Cup is on right now, my mission decided to do a Mission Cup, where we do zone v zone in a couple sports. Was able to play some bball and destroy some zone, and it's a fun time being with a bunch of my CCM bros and just playing sports. Headed out early on a bus to head to the city for a multi zone conference, but there was a hugeeee car accident in one of the cities on the way. Hello friends and family- welcome to another email.  Things are going good out here in Honduras, just living the missionary life. The temple: This past week I was able to go to the temple with our recent convert Jesua. It's super fun to be able to go to the temple with him and watch him progress in the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I love the temple! The work: Well the work out here in my area is pretty tough, I'm not going to lie.  People are pretty hard hearted and aren't really open to anything, but nonetheless, we persevere with faith and keep working. view of the temple We've got a couple people with a baptismal date, but they either aren't married or they think they need to go to church a million times before they can really be baptized, so just working with them to progress and be baptized in the true and restored church!
